All-on-4®, “Teeth in a Day” is a specialized dental implant solution designed for individuals with severely compromised or no teeth. If you are dissatisfied with dentures or the pain of failing teeth and wish to start over with a clean slate, this treatment may be the ideal solution for you. By utilizing four to six dental implants, the All-on-4 concept can replace missing or broken teeth with a fixed solution.
All-on-4 implants are securely fixed in place and function much like natural teeth, providing stability and eliminating worries of teeth slipping, breaking or shifting. This allows patients to speak, laugh, and eat without any concerns.
All-on-4 dental implants are commonly referred to as “Teeth in a Day” because you can leave the dental office on the same day as the implant procedure with a temporary set of fixed upper and lower teeth. Snap-In Dentures (also called Click-In Dentures or Overdentures) are an alternative full mouth replacement option to All-On-4 permanent teeth.
Snap-In Dentures are removed by the patient for daily cleaning, and should not be left in overnight while sleeping. The All-On-4 procedure allows patients permanent porcelain teeth that are not removed, giving the patient a much more natural feel.
Overdentures are typically made of acrylic (plastic), which makes teeth break, pop off, or crack much more often than the Zirconia (porcelain) all of our patients receive with the All-On-4 procedure.
While Snap-In Dentures are a good solution for some people, we have found patient satisfaction with All-On-4 to be much higher than an Overdenture. For this reason, we typically do not offer this treatment option.
Dental implant restorations are prosthetic teeth that are designed to attach to your implant, and restore your smile. For Single Tooth Implants, a dental crown is usually used. This crown functions just like a real tooth and is crafted to fit into your smile perfectly. In conjunction with the titanium implant, your new tooth will function just like your natural tooth did.
Single Tooth Implants can be treated just like a natural tooth. Simply brush and floss your teeth normally, and your implant will remain healthy and strong for years to come. Dental implants typically last 30+ years with proper care.
A Multi-Tooth Implant Bridge is similar to a Single Tooth Implant, but is used to replace a series of failing or missing teeth. Two dental implant screws are placed into the jaw bone and a series of strong, custom teeth bridge the gap.
